Ventoy

Ventoy is an open source tool to create bootable USB drive for ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files. With Ventoy, you don't need to format the disk over and over, you just need to copy the ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files to the USB drive and boot them directly. You can copy many files at a time and Ventoy will give you a boot menu to select them. You can also browse ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files in local disks and boot them. x86 Legacy BIOS, IA32 UEFI, x86_64 UEFI, ARM64 UEFI and MIPS64EL UEFI are supported in the same way. Most types of OS supported (Windows/WinPE/Linux/ChromeOS/Unix/VMware/Xen...) 1100+ ISO files are tested, 90%+ distros in distrowatch.com supported.

This is unfortunate for the vast majority of computer users, who simply clock on a program, install it, and use it without a degree in computer science.
• dzadelis Posted 2025-12-15 It's the best multi-boot tool for any known bootable media or iso (Windows, Linux, Pre-OS environment, Rescue Media... etc.) in order to boot, set-up, run, check and fix anything!
• oakman978 Posted 2025-12-12 Great software, I use it all the time for iso files and windows installations. I have only had it not work on 1 iso, and I think it was a problem with my system. If you install Ventoy and your USB drive no longer works, your drive must have been on its way out already. I have only had that happen on crappy freebie drives or one of those cheap ones from microcenter. Can't format the USB after using?! Skill issue. Anyway, very convenient software. Thanks for sharing!
