  I’ve been using this app for about 3-4 years now. It has gotten so much better over time. I love the new kits that are added on a weekly basis, and the ability to create custom kits. It’s a fluid app that’s simple and very easy to use. However, one gripe I have about this app is that there are so many ads. It’s the same ad over and over again. It pops up every time I change a kit entirely, as well as when I try to change the individual pads. And even worse, it’s $1.99 a month to eliminate the ads and get all the loops. This is what I don’t understand at all. When I first started using this app, it was only a one time payment of $1.99. I guess with the expansion of the app over the years this is to be expected? But I still don’t think 1.99 a month is reasonable. Of course, this is just my subjective experience, and some may have less ads, and have no problem with paying monthly to get rid of them. I realize ads are used to support the developer, so if there’s no way to stop them without the $1.99 monthly payment, (and before putting device on airplane mode, 😂) that’s perfectly ok. All in all, one of the best drum apps out there.

  I think this is a very good app and the creators should keep up the good work. Some things that I like is the fact that I can make a custom drum set or use one that other people have made and there are thousands of others. But the one think the I think should be fixed is the fact that just to use a set you have to watch an ad and to save it you have to watch another ad and to play anything that is on the list you have to watch an ad l. See so many ads! But overall it is a great app and I have found nothing other than this one that is this good so keep up the good work!

  So let me get this straight. Downloading kits involve ads? Bruh they are not good to support them. And OH MY GOD I DONT PLAY GUITAR! So I know you want us H.U.M.A.N.S to download this app and support the adds we watch. Listen to this,” Hey! You wanna play guitar?Yousician Is the best app to download and its FUNNNNNN.” WOWW so you call that a nice ad to support. Excuse me developers I don’t take take take all these ads I get into IM NEVER GOING TO GET OVER IT. Okay now let’s talk about the good news. So you know all these people out there who love drums and HATE Ads? Well, I found out a way to get away from them. Either Opera GX, Or… Reseting the app and then getting back and then sometimes you might get lucky. It only works if you do it at the right time probably five seconds from now but luckily, it does let you get away from the ads. Wk grab some coffe sum snacks get to practicing don’t worry about the ads situations that glitch is here for you

  TL;DR: This is a great app that is held back by the greed of its developers. This is a solid app for practicing drums on the go. More cymbals and drums than on GarageBand, albeit with not much customization, but for an app that’s mostly just for having fun and practicing on my phone, it’s hard to complain.What I WILL complain about is the ungodly amount of ads in this app. I get it, no free app is without ads. It’s how they make their money.But to have to hit the exit (X) button 5 DIFFERENT TIMES, and have to wait sometimes up to 10 seconds PER BUTTON is so frustrating, especially when you accidentally click the ad at the top of the screen when playing (conveniently placed right about multiple cymbals, where it’s easy to click) or when it just randomly decides to cut audio so you HAVE to play an ad - or exit out of the app completely. Yes, there’s a “premium” version that removes ads and gives you a couple extra perks, but to have to pay a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE for what should be a one-time payment is just ridiculous. All of this adds up to an app that is more focused on getting your money and distracting you from being able to use it, rather than focusing on the thing everyone came for: just playing the drums. It’s hard for me to recommend this app to anyone. Despite the fact that I do enjoy a lot of the drumming aspects, it’s incredibly clear where the real motivations of the developers are.
